Andrea Zapparoli Manzoni is an Executive Director at Crowdfense Limited (UAE).
Previosly he had worked as a Head of Cyber Security Services for KPMG Advisory, CEO and founder of several Cyber security companies in Italy (Jargon, Dialoghi, Security Brokers) and in Italian Army (SOF, Co Cmdr)
He has an expertise in Offensive Cyber Security operations, 0-day exploits and custom offensive tools design and procurement, Defensive Cyber Security advisory (Gov and Corporate), defensive tools design and development management, Cyber Threat intelligence and geopolitical analysis, CxO and High-level government officers training and advisory. He is a Lecturer at several Universities and Military Schools on Cyber security topics, in Italy and abroad Trainings & Education.
Mr. Manzoni studied Political Science and International Relations at Università Cattolica in Milan (Italy) and at U.C. Berkeley (US) while hacking the first computers out of passion and curiosity in the late ‘80s and early ‘90s. After that, attended the Italian Military School. He had published many publications incuding “Rapporto Clusit sulla sicurezza informatica in Italia” (2011 – ongoing), yearly report published by the Italian Cyber Security Association, “National Cyber Security Framework” (adopted by the Italian Government in 2016), “Cyber Security and Resilience for Smart Hospitals” (EU guideline prepared for ENISA), “Malaysia National Cyber Security Strategy” (prepared for NACSA, National Cyber Security Agency in 2020). He is an author of hundreds of articles, interviews, videos, conference talks (OffensiveCon, Black Hat, Hack in the Box, NullCon, SHACK, OPCDE, MoSec and many others) and Master lectures around the world. Mr. Manzoni is a member of board of CLUSIT, Italian Cyber Security Association, member of the “Osservatorio per la Sicurezza Nazionale” (OSN) established within the Military Center for Strategic Studies (CeMiSS) in Rome, which supported the definition of the Italian National Cyber Strategy, member of the Board of Directors of “Assintel” (Italian National Association of ICT Companies), and Board Advisor for the Center for Strategic Cyberspace + Security Science (CSCSS), London (UK)
